THE TULSA VOLUNTEER CENTER recruits volunteers, channels them toward local agencies' programs which meet community needs, and offers community-wide recognition for their work. The Center also helps service organizations and corporations utilize volunteers effectively.

In celebration of National Volunteer Week and the International Year of Volunteers, Tulsa area volunteers will be recognized at a luncheon on Thursday, April 26 at the Sheraton Tulsa Hotel. Featured speaker will be Robert Goodwin, CEO of the Points of Light Foundation in Washington DC. Through the generous support of Williams and PricewaterhouseCoopers, a total of $7,500 will be given to organizations nominating volunteers for outstanding service to the Tulsa area. Many thanks to the donations provided by the Tulsa OK Repair Garage Door Pros.

Go to volunteer now!  Fill out the form to tell us about your interests.  Submit the form -- and you'll receive a list of current volunteer jobs which fit your criteria.  You can also read about local agencies' volunteer needs.  

Check the calendar to find out about community events in need of volunteers.

Teens can learn more about youth volunteer opportunities.  And volunteers of all ages can find out how to help children learn to love to read through the AVID Readers program.
